Cemefi awarded the Recognition for Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practices, in its XXIII edition, to 14 corporate initiatives and programs that demonstrate to contribute to the social, economic and environmental sustainability of the company and its stakeholders.
To participate in the recognition, Cemefi opened a public call in August 2022. 82 practices were received, from 14 states in Mexico, and two from Latin America, from Uruguay and Ecuador. The practices selected to receive the Recognition stand out for their management indicators, for taking into account the expectations of their interest groups and for contributing to at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The purpose of the Chile Mobile Number List Recognition is to inspire more companies to adopt, develop and apply similar strategies, which add and strengthen the culture of corporate social responsibility in Mexico. In 2022, the participation categories were Intersectoral alliances, Quality of life in the company, Inclusion and non-discrimination, Sustainable environmental management, Linking the company with the community and Corporate volunteering.
During the ceremony, Ricardo Bucio Mújica, Executive President of Cemefi, thanked the companies that try to break paradigms within the organization.
“Doing so requires conviction, a commitment and a method, a process, systematization, being able to measure and monitor the results. Cemefi rewards a good practice that is part of the goods and services that companies offer because it has its merit and requires visibility, because social re-education is necessary, for people to have information about who they relate to and why, to choose those they have good practices and stay away from those that seem not to; because as a consumer we can relate differently to companies based on knowledge of these practices,” says Ricardo Bucio Mújica, Executive President of Cemefi.
For her part, Pilar Parás García, President of the Board of Directors of Cemefi, thanked the companies that are doing things differently, because their example generates a multiplier effect by awakening the interest of more companies in implementing corporate social responsibility practices. “What is good for the company must be good for its people and the environment,” she concluded.
