Week 8
Houseguests: David Lane, Erika Landin, Lisa Donahue, Matt McDonald
The final four were happy to have made it far, but the last few competitions would be crucial.
Julie: In this competition you will be naming the day houseguests were evicted from the house. You will get a point for every day you are off, the houseguest with the fewest points will win HoH.
After 8 rounds, David easily won the HOH title for the fourth time.
It's such a great feeling to be in the final four, knowing that you've got a one in four shot at the money. It sucks that David won HOH, but the true power holder is the POV winner.
David had to perform the last nomination ceremony.
David: As HOH it's my duty to save one of you who must win veto to stay off the block yourself I always wonder why the HOH on CBS doesn't just pull a name out of a hat....I nominate Lisa and Erika. Lisa and Erika... as well as Matty, good luck this week with veto!
If Lisa wins this Veto she deserves it. It meaning the veto. And an all expenses paid trip to the beautiful Island of Bora Bora
It was time for the final and hardest veto of the season.
Julie: The giant T.V. in front of you is made up of several screens. Your job is to put each screen on the correct channel. Use the buttons below the T.V. to toggle through the channels. If all the screens are on the right channels, you will have correctly solved the puzzle. But be careful: if you go down the wrong path, you may be trying to put the wrong image together. That's because there are 3 puzzles, but 2 of them are missing pieces—making only one solution correct. If you take the wrong route, you could lose valuable time. The first houseguest to send the correct and completed puzzle will win the Power of Veto.
The houseguests scrambled to figure the puzzle out, but 9 and a half hours later Erika was the first to finish the puzzle and claim the final veto.
The veto was so difficult. I'm in total shock that Erika won though. Pre-Veto, I had struck a deal with Lisa, but obviously it won't work out because we're both sitting in the nominee chairs now. There's hope for an alliance for us in All Stars, maybe.
Erika won! I don't know if she'll keep Matty. It could honestly be smarter for her to keep Lisa because I think both of us will take her. She's done a good job playing a Natalie to a Russell-esque(although not as cocky... I hope ) guy. Plus the fact that she's an english major she could easily convince the jury eloquently about why she should win. And if the jury is bitter, I'm screwed. I'm hoping Matty is safe. However she voted Matty out last round. Could spell bad news.
It was now time for the final veto ceremony.
Erika: Usually I would give Lisa a chance to give me a reason to save him but since I am on the block, I have decided to use the Power of Veto on myself. Now Matt must replace me since that's the only choice.
It was now time to evict the ninth houseguest from the Big Brother House
Julie: Welcome to this week's eviction ceremony. Tonight we will say goodbye to either Matt or Lisa. Remember, after I reveal the results, the evicted houseguest will have one minute to say their goodbyes, get their things, and walk out the front door. By Erika's single vote of 1-0, Matt, you have been evicted from the Big Brother house.
