Week 2
Houseguests: Annie Whittington, April Dowling, Dustin Erikstrup, Jordan Lloyd, Jun Song, Karen Fowler, Nicole Schaffrich, Parker Somerville, Porsche Briggs, Renny Martyn, Sarah Hrejsa, Steven Daigle
After the drama-filled double eviction, houseguests were figuring each other out.
I think my biggest threats in this game are Dustin, Annie, and possibly Porshe. Im pretty sure they all have something I should be worried about. Dustin has a great social game and we get along, but itll only be a matter of time before he gets in my way. Annie is a someone I should watch out aswell, especially since shes laying low after her hoh reign. Porshe, I think, aligned with all the Vets at the beginning of this game. So im thinking she has a great social game behind the scenes aswell.
I am closest to Nicole in the game, so she poses no threat to me. But she is another who has a great social game. I also get along well with Parker and Jordan on a day-to-day basis. I get along with Jun aswell, but it isnt as constant as the others, and im slowly losing contact with Sarah. I need to initate conversation so we can talk more.
And I dont know whats going on with Steven/Annie. Im starting to think he was just used as a pawn, and they do have an alliance. I dont know, but if I win Hoh, one or the other is going up, if not both.
Me thinks Porsche has gone soft An alliance of 5 newbies has joined together to make an all out effort to put an end to the vet's reign after Annie's 2nd HOH win. This alliance includes myself,Jun,Nicole,Renny, and Sarah.
But does it make me a bad alliance member to say that I am finding that I like Annie? Yes I know Queen Annabelle never trusts, only gives what she thinks is necessary and no more, and adapts as she sees fit. But is all of that wrong? Because I think it's smart as hell!
I know that Annie is a huge threat in this game and if she stays it won't be easy to get her out later but I respect her game play I really do. I plan to remain loyal to my alliance of course, I would never be the jerk that goes and back stabs the whole group but if I win the next HOH I plan to stand my ground and nominate who I want to nominate and they may find it upsetting that at this time that person is not Annie. I respect what she is trying to do in this game. She has promised that this week I will be safe and I replied that I hope that I get the chance to return the favor. I meant what I said and I will return the favor.
I'm ready for this week to start, because I honestly feel like I'm off to a good start. Although, I really dont trust anyone in this game, except for Parker maybe. He just seems like the type who wouldn't lie to me like that. Then again, ya never know. Also, let me just note how ANNOYING Dustin is! Like, its one thing to be out there, but he is being TOOO over the top. He is just an attention seeking whore, who is hoping to make it far and be known in this series.... sound familiar? Tehe
It would appear as if my behavior is becoming a problem....AGAIN. I promised I would tune it down, but I refuse to kill it all completely.
I have the feeling Jun is very slimy. Everyone loves her, she's getting close to one of the best competitors in the house, and she's been talking bad about my ally, Parker. But would I have the votes to pull it off, and is it too soon? I believe I don't, and I believe it is. However, I have my eyes on her.
At the HOH competition, the houseguests competed in "Majority Rules". After 8 rounds, 5 of which were ties, a tiebreaker was brought out and Annie won, winning her second HOH competition in 2 weeks.
REALLY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? ELIMINATED ON THE FIRST QUESTION!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? AND MY KARMA IS AT -1. AND ANNIE IS HOH AGAIN, AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE I STAND WITH HER.
Ugh. Annie, Jordan, and Steven are doing great jobs at redeeming themselves, and I still can't win a competition. I'm just so afraid of going home early again. Should I message Annie and get nominated for seeming desperate, or do I not message her, and get nominated for not talking to the HoH?
If I am nominated, I hope I am now so I can at least have a chance to try to win the veto.
My game isn't over yet, I can't let it get to me.
This twist regarding HoH has definitely benefitted Annie. Not good for me. I dont talk to her at all, so I wouldnt be surprised to see myself nominated this week.
So now I'm kinda bummed I didn't win. Going into it I didn't want to win at all, but then I lasted so long that I felt like I kinda needed to. Because of my performance in the last two competitions, I may now be seen as a threat which means I have a good chance of going up.
I haven't talked to Annie enough to feel safe, so I have no idea what's gonna happen. We'll see....
So Annie won the HoH Again. This trick is like honestly on steroids or something, I honestly hate it. Aside from that Ugh, I'm so mad at myself I got knocked out in the first round! I honestly have that strong possibility that I might be a nominee so I'm on edge right now. Annie is unpredictable and can target me as a social gamer. Then again I think she might target people who were involved with that drama with Ragan last week. I have a feeling it might be Porsche, Dustin or Renny as her options. Now it's time to kiss ass and deflect some bullets.
The HoH came down to a tight race between Annie, Jordan, Steven, and Sarah and thankfully Annie pulled out the victory, one of my alliance. I am just bumming it right now that I'm doing terrible in the HoH Competitions. The only vet that is doing worse than me is Dustin, the rejects of BBR9 are being trolled by a higher power I say!
Anyways due to my performance I really have no right to try and manipulate Annie's decision into maybe putting Jun up on the block. If anything I need to reaffirm that I am a solid third for the alliance because no doubt I think Jun or Porsche may try to coax her into putting me up, throwing me under the bus and everything. Last thing I need is to be backdoored due to suspicions that I may be a liability... aka last season. -_-
I have a feeling Sarah will be going up. She won a PoV already and now the only newbie to nearly win Head of Household afterwards? That's cause for concern right there, especially for me because I never talk to her. lol So hopefully she goes up, I'll start talking to Jordan about it and hopefully she can spread this over to Annie.
Had a discussion with Annie about the nominees, and due to my contacts with April, I informed her about Sarah. Apparently, Sarah made a deal to April about an alliance, and was like "we should recruit other people too". That leads me to believe that she already has "other people" with her. Gosh, I love April! <3 So, with that newfound info, I told Annie about it, and I'm pretty sure Sarah will be nommed along with somebody who doesnt talk to her that much.
At the nomination ceremony Annie targeted houseguests she didn't speak to.
[To house]
Annie: You guys know what happens at the nominations. I've nominated Sarah & April for eviction.
My only reason is based of communication. Everyone else has just made more an effort to reach out to me. I apologize for being busy and what not but it's the only thing I can base off my nominations of. Good luck in the veto. This ceremony is adjourned.
I was a bit concerned she was going to put me up but I escaped the block a second week. Putting up Sarah & April was no surprise, though. It was expected. There is definitely a divide between vets & newbies in this game.
I'm nominated for the second week in a row. FML....
Annie's reasoning is that I've communicated with her the least. Well I not going to IM her when she's set at away and when I send you a private message and you don't respond, I'm not gonna keep messaging you til it gets annoying. She could have responded to me, communication is a two way street. Whatever, I'll just go for the veto again. The only problem is if I win, people might start to see me as a strong competitor and use that as an excuse to nominate me.
At least I have some alliances going on right now. The other day, I approached April and she seemed open to it. Nothing ever got finalized on that, so I'm not completely sure where she stands. An now she's nominated against me. The only good thing is that she chose Nicole to play for the veto for her, and Nicole is in my other alliance.
The alliance of the newbies: Porsche, Nicole, Jun, Renny, and me, Sarah
I already wanted to make an alliance with Nicole and Jun and Renny is definitely a strong competitor. Porsche is an amazing social player, but I'm a little worried about her down the road. Still, hopefully we can make it to the final five. I brought up bringing in April, but now I'm glad we didn't because this helps me. Next week, one of us needs to win because we need to start getting rid of the vets. All five of them are still in the game and if we don't start winning HOH's, they're gonna run this game. First target, Annie. Sorry girl, but winning HOH twice in a row, then nominating me you're second week, does not put you on my good side. No matter what your reasons.
So there's four votes I should have automatically. Hopefully I can pull Karen in since she's in my bedroom and I should be ok.
I knew id get nominated this week, but somehow it isnt stopping me from feeling some type of way. I want to call Annie out on her shit, but I know that wouldnt be a good move this early in the game. Sooo whatever to happened to Annie and Steven? .... Shocker at the fakeness.
Sarah & April were nominated. I don't know why Annie would go and nominate Sarah! I think she's being used as a pawn to get April out. I mean the only 2 true floaters are Karen & April. Thank God for Annie doing all the dirty work for us because we wanted to target her, but the opportunity presented itself at the right time. April chose Nicole for veto, Sarah chose me for veto. Honestly, if I win the veto I'd save and use it on Sarah. My gut it telling me once I pull her off, either Renny, Nicole, or Porsche will go up against April. But what would shock me is that Annie can renom Karen, Jordan, Parker, or Dustin. April we can save for another week, but if she actually renoms Dustin or Jordan, Our 5 man alliance has the numbers to evict whoever the hell we want to.
At the veto competition, the houseguests competed in "Big Spenders". It was an auction game. With the most points and only giving up the right to play in the next HOH, April walked away with the Power of Veto. Jun won the Veto Stopper, it had the ability to skip one week's veto competition. Nicole won the Diamond Power of Veto, it had the ability to remove one nominee and put up a houseguest of her choice.
Yay, I won veto! Kiss it, Annie.
Im coming after ya, betch; prepare for my wrath.
I'm sooo proud of my April babey! I really didnt want her to be nominated, but I'm not HOH. April doesnt really need the HOH anyways. Now we need to worry about these damn powers. I'm not sure if I should get Nicole and Jun to waste them, or to use my social skills to get them to use it in a way that would benefit me. Decisions, Decisions.
Look who has the Diamond Power of Veto! Yeah, mothafucka! I didn't realize that the recipients of prizes were going to be named at the end of the PoV competition. My strategy was to take one punishment (warped photos for 1 point) and one prize (mystery prize #2 for 49 points). I thought that betting 1 point would guarantee a win, and if people saw my photos warped, they wouldn't assume that I would also have a mystery power. Well, that backfired, didn't it? Someone else also took 1 point for the warped photos and we cancelled each other out. And everyone knows that I have the second mystery prize. But, all things considered, I'm happy because at least my ass is safe for now.
I'm thrilled that Jun has a Veto Stopper; if we coordinate these powers properly, we can send Annie and Jordan out of this house in back-to-back weeks before the jury!!! Porsche and Jun are already pressuring me to use the DPoV this week so we can blindside Jordan, but we don't even know who the replacement nominee is yet! Ladies, take…it…easy. Taking out Jordan would be great but the first person on Nicole's priority list…is Nicole. I'm not going to make a power move in Week 2 so that I can be evicted in Week 3. I need to use this power wisely and in a way that doesn't come back to bite me in the ass. I won't make my decision until Annie names a replacement nominee. And while I'll go over my options with my allies and listen to their suggestions, the choice is ultimately mine, not theirs. The goal this week is to make sure that Sarah survives the eviction and that someone either dangerous or disposable is evicted. If Annie nominates a vet, there's no reason at all for me to use the DPoV. In fact, even if Annie nominates Karen (and I feel terrible saying this), I'm prepared to let Karen be evicted. She's a number when it comes to votes but how reliable is she in the game? She's just not around enough to be trustworthy. In the limited amount of time she's online, who else might she have a deal with?
Winning the DPoV is both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, I get to keep myself safe, even in the case of a backdoor nomination. But on the other hand, I'll have a bull's-eye on me for the next three weeks. I have to be smart and rational; I have to think of myself first and not let other people's urgent suggestions convince me to do something that isn't necessarily in my best interest. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Porsche and Jun love to feel as though they're the ring-leaders. But let's be honest right now. At this very moment, I'm the most powerful bitch in this house. So they best respect.
With power floating around the veto meeting promised to be an interesting one...
[To house]
April: As winner of the power of veto competition, I have to decide whether or not I want to use the power of veto on either myself or Sarah.
I would give Sarah a chance to explain why I should use the veto on her, but obviously im going to use the power of veto to veto myself from the nominations. Sorry, giirl. Annie, as HoH, it is now your responsibility to name a replacement nominee.
Annie: Karen take the seat, sorry. Good luck girls.
Immediately after, Nicole stood up...
[To house]
Nicole: As you all know, I won the Diamond Power of Veto in this week's Veto competition and I have three weeks before it expires. Obviously, this comes with a lot of responsibility and I've put a lot of thought into this decision.
I have decided...to use the Diamond Power of Veto...to take Sarah off the block. The Diamond Power of Veto also allows me to choose the replacement nominee...and this is obviously the most difficult part. Like I said, I thought about this a lot before coming to a decision. I have decided to nominate...Jordan.
I'm sorry for blindsiding you like this, Jordan. My decision is strategic at heart. You're a player with a very successful track record and you perform really well in competitions. You're a boss bitch, to use your words. You know I have nothing against you personally; this was just an opportunity in the game that I didn't want to ignore. I hope you understand.
This Veto meeting is adjourned. Good luck to you both, ladies.
Just like that I'm screwed over by ANOTHER FUCKING POWER!!!
I have the cougar power alliance with Renny and Nicole and I felt that was fine up until Nicole used the DPOV on Sarah. Jordan is up now, and I feel that she wouldn't have done that unless she felt Jordan would leave, so that's good news.
Oh my god, im torn. I really dont want to vote Jordan out. Were cool. Then theres Karen, who I dont talk to AT ALL. *sigh* That was so dumb of Nicole. She wasted her dpov, imo. Im not voting Jordan out, and I dont give a fuck if it helps anyone elses game.
Im taken back at the fact that I knew nothing of the "backdoor". I would have least liked to be informed. I know it was her dpov, but I thought we were close. And its dumb as hell, because she doesnt even know 100% if she has the votes. I like the girl, but terrible move.
So, Nicole used the Diamond Power of Veto in an attempt to backdoor Jordan. I have been really on the fence about this decision. I am under the impression the house wants Jordan gone since she is a big threat. If I voted with the house, I am safe to more people, Jordan takes the 3rd Pre-Jury spot, and Karen is practically guaranteed the 4th, making it easiest for me to make the Jury. Also, by voting with the house, It hides the fact I am working with the veterans, if that's what you'd like to call it. However, by doing so, I could be seen as disloyal in the eyes of Annie and Parker. I think Parker is disloyal to me, so fuck him, it's Annie I am afraid of. She is a beast at competitions, and can be HoH literally every week. If I make a move she doesn't like, I am sitting pretty on that nomination chair. However, I think my relationships would be well enough to not be evicted. *Hopefully* And who knows? I might be able to win my first veto! I want to see where the house is at. I believe evicting Jordan will further me in the game, though.
Dustin was foolish not to go for one of the Mystery Prizes when I even gave him the example of a DPoV possibly being one of them. I fucking called it and people don't listen to me. Now Jordan is up on the block against an inactive and it looks like Jordan is going to be the one that takes the bullet. WTF!
I take back what I said about coming into this game possibly playing with people that aren't dodos. They're still as agitating as ever, I swear to god.
At the eviction Jordan was once again evicted by a power by a vote of 6-2.
Houseguests: Annie Whittington, April Dowling, Dustin Erikstrup, Jordan Lloyd, Jun Song, Karen Fowler, Nicole Schaffrich, Parker Somerville, Porsche Briggs, Renny Martyn, Sarah Hrejsa, Steven Daigle
